Our Mission

Founded with the purpose of uplifting women in the workplace, our vision is to promote a creative space in the community that welcomes all across age, gender identity, race, cultural background, physical or mental ability, and perspective.

Each project is unique, and our approach is to develop a deep understanding of our client's practical needs + wants, and deliver impeccable service while maintaining each client's vision, brand + budgetary requirements.

We commit to being socially responsible, ethically aware, and taking an environmentally sustainable approach when it comes to sourcing production materials, and selecting retailers + vendors.

We pledge to reduce or eliminate production waste by recycling and reusing products, using eco-friendly materials when available, and avoiding plastics + styrofoam. All of which are high priorities, but just the start of our efforts!

GEONNI SIGL

Founder,
Chief Creative

Geonni is a set + production designer and set decorator. Her educational background is in graphic design, art direction for film/tv, and interior architectural design. Her experience spans feature film, television, commercials + special content. She founded Onni Creative in 2020 and currently oversees daily operations + business development, and leads the team's creative efforts across all mediums. Prior to OC, she was director of marketing for United Artists Releasing, leading theater marketing campaigns for MGM, Annapurna Pictures + Orion Pictures' diverse slate of indie + big budget films, including House of Gucci, No Time To Die, Respect, Licorice Pizza, Creed II, The Addams Family, and Booksmart.

DEANNA TAPHORN

Director, Creative + Concessions
Deanna Taphorn

Deanna is a graphic designer and OC’s movie theatre concessions expert. She oversees creative marketing for internal and external concessions campaigns, project management, and maintains film studio + vendor relations. Prior to OC, she was the Creative Director at Cinema Scene / Vision Media for 16 years.

NEKISHA NJUGUNA

Nekisha Njuguna

Nekisha is a recent graduate with a Bachelor's degree in Design and Communications. She specializes in social media management, strategy, and content creation. She currently supports OC's digital marketing and social media initiatives across all platforms. She is passionate about scoping out trends and cultivating pockets of community within the digital space.

Sam Duncan

SAM DUNCAN

Manager, Marketing Business Operations

Sam is a marketing professional, production designer, and set decorator based in Los Angeles with experience in feature films, commercials, music videos, and branded content with a bachelor’s degree in Art History and Visual Arts from Columbia University. At OC, Sam focuses on operations, process optimization, and streamlining organizational structures. Prior to OC, Sam worked in advertising as a project manager and digital producer at VICE Media and Wieden+Kennedy, which was AdAge’s Agency of the Year twice during her time there. Her clients included HBO, YouTube, Delta Airlines, Dove Men, Duracell, Lyft, and Johnnie Walker. From there, she jumped to Sundance Film Festival working in both operations and marketing, coordinating the environmental design, signage, and a dedicated New Frontier venue.

Kim is a recent graduate with a Master’s of Media & Communication with 7+ years of professional experience in administration. She supports OC’s digital marketing program through market research and creating copy for ads, email marketing campaigns, and blog posts. She’s passionate about marketing and PR through storytelling and community engagement.

Operations Coordinator

Cesy is an Operations Coordinator at Onni Creative, where she works to improve and streamline daily operations. With over 2 years of experience in Sales Operations and Community Development, she is skilled in data analysis, stakeholder management, and creating efficient systems. Cesy is passionate about building processes that help teams work better and achieve their goals. She enjoys finding solutions that make things easier and more effective for everyone involved.

Camila is in her final year at Syracuse University, where she majors in marketing and retail management and minors in French and Francophone studies. At Onni Creative, she supports the operations team by leveraging various project management tools, collaborating closely with the marketing team on crafting engaging promotional emails, and assisting with diverse marketing initiatives. Passionate about marketing operations and teamwork, Camila thrives in a collaborative environment and is eager to expand her knowledge while working alongside an incredible team.
